CHICAGO TRIP DAY 1

For over a month I have been obsessing over my trip to Chicago and let me tell you it was worth the wait. As soon as me and my boyfriend Jason arrived in Chicago we were greeted by a beautiful rainbow in the sky. That rainbow set the tone for my entire trip, which was nothing but bliss.

Upon arrival to our hotel, I knew that we were in for a treat. The Acme Company Hotel Chicago was everything me and Jason are, young, vibrant and hip. It's a small boutique hotel but it packs a punch with their dope decor. Since we arrived so early Jason and I took a quick nap then got dressed and hit the streets with my gorg little cousin Chantell.

Chantell lives in Chicago so it was nothing for her to hop on the train and meet us on Michigan Avenue. Once we all linked up

we hit up my fav store Forever21 then we took a cab to Hot Doug's which is a hot dog restaurant that we learned about on Anthony Bourdain's television show No Reservations.

 Hot Doug's doesn't just offer up your regular ole hot dog no they give you the best of the best. I had the Paul Kelly which is a bratwurst soaked in beer and the traditional Chicago hot dog The Dog. But if you're looking to be more adventurous try their hot dog made of pure duck meat and on Friday's and Saturday's you can get French Fries fried in duck fat, yum!

After filling our bellies we hit up Wicker Park which to me is a lot like St. Louis' Delmar Loop. Wicker Park is filled with shops and restaurants and honey let me tell you I did some shopping :) After day one I was pooped but we still had two more days to go so stayed tuned for more pics and info!!!!

On the 23rd of this month me and my honey will be heading to Chicago for a mini vacation and I can't wait!!!  We're going to hit the Loop, Wicker Park, Navy Pier and more. Of course I had to order a few things to take along with me so I could hit the Chicago streets in style. Enjoy :)

'SINGLES LADIES' STAR TRAVIS WINFREY KONTROL MAGAZINE SHOOT

If you don't know, I love the Vh1 show Single Ladies!!! Well, Travis Winfrey who plays the sassy, love-sick Omar just did a ultra sexy shoot with Kontrol Magazine where he revealed that unlike his character Omar he LOVES WOMEN!!! So ladies if you see Travis out on the streets, holla at him 'cause you got a chance. Here's what Travis had to say on his character and what he likes in a woman.

On playing the role of a gay character
It was an opportunity for me to play a gay character who is not playing a gay character…I don’t know if people assume I am but people know Omar is gay. They assume I am not… something I would have never done.

On not playing the stereotypical neck-rolling, finger snapping gay male
We all come built with our own stereotypes and should take things light heatedly.

Do you prefer being single during the summer or settled down in the winter?
There’s a difference in the seasons between L.A. and New York. L.A is warm all the time so being single is fun. In New York, sometimes you can be single; in the winter you need to be snuggled up.

Are you attracted to dominate women
I will let my woman think she’s in control.

Neither one is my style. Keri Hilson. Leona Lewis.

Stacey Dash or Lisa Raye?
Of course, Lisa Raye. That’s my mommy right there. I love her!

I’m a trunk man. I’m trying to be in the yacht not in the water.

Do you prefer seeing tan lines or no tan lines on a woman?
I love women. So it does not matter to me. I like bare and the after glow. I love women!

What’s sexier on a woman: Boy shorts or a thong?
Boy shorts! I love Hanes. I need to undress my present.
